Yes, we offer both virtual and in-person sessions. Our office is located at Suite 304, 678 Belmont Avenue West, Kitchener, ON. We also offer walking sessions on the Iron Horse Trail for clients who prefer a more relaxed setting.
Our office is located on the second floor and stairs are required to access it. If accessibility is a concern, we offer virtual sessions as an alternative. We also offer walking sessions outdoors.
Yes. Leanne Wiese is a fully Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), registration #15522. Teodora Kostadinovska is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with CRPO, registration #19697. You can verify these registrations on the CRPO website.
Yes, our services are covered by most extended health insurance plans that include Registered Psychotherapist benefits. Coverage depends on the specific details of your individual plan. We recommend checking with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Cash, and PayPal.
Yes, we offer direct billing to most major insurance providers. This means your insurance company is billed directly for covered sessions, so you do not have to pay out of pocket and wait for reimbursement. Let us know your provider when booking and we can confirm whether direct billing is available for your plan.
Yes, we are registered providers with Victim Services of Waterloo Region through their Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP+). For more information on eligibility and how to access this program, please visit the Victim Services of Waterloo Region website.
Our approaches are tailored to each individual, couple, or team we work with. We draw from a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, Psychodynamic therapy, Gottman Couples Therapy, and positive psychology.
We have experience working with performance anxiety, health anxiety, OCD, general anxiety, depression, ADHD, grief and loss, career loss, uncertainty, fear of death and dying, familial conflict, marital and relationship conflict, parenting, body image, self-esteem, chronic pain, life transitions, school issues, substance use, stress, burnout, and sports performance.
It is your session. While we may provide some structure and guidance to get the most out of your time together, there are no topics we cannot explore. Common goals that individuals bring to session include developing coping strategies for performance anxiety, burnout, and everyday stress. Others come to work on relationships, process grief, build confidence, or simply have a space where they feel heard and supported.
Individual sessions start from $130 for students and $150 for individuals per 50-minute session. Couples sessions are $170 per 50-minute session. 80-minute sessions are also available at higher rates.
